Catluvy LearnsTerms of Use
Last updated: October 12, 2026
These terms apply to the Catluvy Learns apps for iPhone and iPad and the website at catluvy.com ("Catluvy Learns"). By using Catluvy Learns you agree to them. If you are setting it up for a child, you agree on their behalf. On Apple devices, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ, these terms add to it.
Using Catluvy Learns
Catluvy Learns is a learning app for children: math, spelling, reading, writing and other lessons, with games and progress tracking. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your family's or classroom's own learning. Please don't copy, resell, or try to break into the app or its services.
Free version and Catluvy Pro
The starter levels are free. Catluvy Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks every level and game, all voices, and family and class leaderboards for every player on the subscribed device.
- Plans: monthly or yearly, at the price shown in the app before you buy (prices may vary by country and include any applicable taxes).
- Free trial: the yearly plan may include a free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it becomes a paid yearly subscription.
- Payment: charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
- Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancel or manage: any time in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or the App Store. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds: handled by Apple under its policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- New devices: use "Restore purchases" in the app with the same Apple ID.
Groups and leaderboards
A grown-up can create or join a family or class group with a join code. Group members can see each child's nickname, emoji buddy and XP. Only share join codes with people you know, and choose nicknames that don't reveal a child's full name.
Your word lists
Grown-ups can make their own spelling lists (up to 10 per device, 100 words each). Lists stay private to your device and are shared by the players on it. Please keep them kind and age-appropriate: no bad language, nothing unkind about real people, and no personal information such as full names, addresses or phone numbers. The app blocks common bad words when you save.
To keep children safe, we may review word lists and hide any list that breaks these rules. A hidden list is emptied in the app and shows why it was hidden; you can fix it and send it for review, and we'll show it again once it's approved. When you delete a list in the app, it disappears from the app right away, but we keep deleted and hidden lists, and earlier versions of edited lists, for safety review and record-keeping. They are only removed for good by us, including whenever a parent asks us to delete their data (see the Privacy Policy).
Content
We work hard to make lessons accurate and age-appropriate, but Catluvy Learns is a practice tool, not a replacement for a teacher or school curriculum. Lessons may change, be added or be removed over time.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect (very little) and how it's used.
Disclaimers and liability
Catluvy Learns is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Catluvy Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that can't be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and for significant changes we'll tell you in the app. Continuing to use Catluvy Learns after a change means you accept the updated terms.
